... and what a lovely night it is too, Wanda...
Hello world
I've been a little quiet of late, haven't I? Life is busy and oft confusing and sometimes the net isn't the best place to air private concerns. Busyness is the main reason for my recent lack of bloggage. You would think that that would result in my having much juicy information to divulge, but the truth is I don't really feel like I have any spesh news to show for my absence.
My life hasn't been all mundane though. Today I went back to uni, my first day for what I expect (and hope) to be my final year. That in itself is exciting on a couple of levels. I really love being a uni student and I have also enjoyed my course more or less consistently over the past three years. So I'm excited to be back again for another year. On another level, I'm pleased that it's my final year and am looking forward to the future, hazy as it still is at this stage (but slowly clearing). In yet another way, I'm proud of myself for sticking with this for so long and now seeing the end in sight. I think of myself as a pretty fickle person yet I'm one of the few people I know who is still studying what they enrolled in at the beginning. I've done moderately well throughout my course and am looking to finish ahead of my program plan, which was initially 4 1/2 years. Maybe this doesn't mean much to you guys out there but for me... well as I said, it's all exciting.
In vehicular news, I have a new car (can anyone say "yaay!!"?). Little red Ford Laser, with all the quirks of a not-quite-new car, but extremely cool nonetheless.
Consider this a teaser for further articles sooner rather than later. Dinner's ready and my digestive system has spoken.
Sleep is for the weak,
