Yeah baby, yeah!
All's cool in the land of Tegan tonight. Nicely set up here now but what I'm really missing is music. I'm trying in vain to get the uber-cool looking playlists (Killer Queen! I haven't heard that for waaaay too long) in media player to work but to no avail. How frustration! Wait a minute, I'm going to get my cds. It's just too quiet here.
*gets up, rummages around for a few minutes, flicks through woefully small cd collection thrice, wrestles with drives, speakers and various music programs*
Can you tell this isn't my computer?
*finally gets music flowing and grins with satisfaction*
Much better. I now have the ever-groovy Rebecca St James keeping me company. I haven't listened to this in ages. Don't you love it when you hear an album or song you really dig for the first time in ages? It's like meeting an old friend or something. I think it makes you appreciate the music even more.
I'm in a very laid back mood tonight, often conducive to me tapping out words easily, but tonight this doesn't seem to be the case. I must be so laid back I can't be bothered urging my fingers to keep typing once my mind begins traipsing down some pretty little path or other. I'm going to take this as a hint to take my whole self to traipse down a pretty path and save my fingers for another time.
Thought of the day: "post-school, nerds are cool". I will expound on this next time.
