Hey all

Cruisy Sunday afternoon at my house, one I've been needing for quite some time. I love these days home by myself, where I can bum around and do as I please. I've been pretty tired lately as I alluded in my last entry so I had vowed to myself that I would not be tempted by any invitations to socialise this afternoon, no matter who invited me or how irresistable the offer seemed. Thankfully I was able to keep my promise to myself and I came home straight after church to an empty house. Since then I've checked my email and chatted online to my friends Matthew and Chris, watched Ferris Bueller's Day Off for the first time ever (starring Matthew Broderick; rad movie) and received a phone call from another friend Matt who I haven't seen in about 6 months. Hence the name of this afternoon's blog. You'd think parents could be a little more creative in naming their children?

Anyway there are a couple of things calling my name right now: namely a collection of Oscar Wilde's short stories and a thermal sleeping bag on the couch. I'd better not keep them waiting.

Those three little words: "I tolerate you",

Teegs

"Bueller.... Bueller... Bueller?" That sometimes plays in my head like an annoying song... Especially when i'm looking for something I don't really feel like finding..
I'm also a big believer in the quote "Life moves pretty fast..if you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."

W00t & huzzah! I love that movie! Especially the scene where he's singing in the parade.

Now.... have you seen the Blues Brothers?

Everyone MUST see the Blue Brothers

In college we would watch this and have to take a drink everytime a car got smashed. For some reason, the movie just seemed to ger funnier and funnier.

FBDO was a movie we watched about 3 time in high school. I'm not sure why they keep showing it to us, perhaps the teachers hoped we'd take a hint and just not show up. I appreciated the moive more once I saw it at home. When you see it at school it make you wish you were anywhere but.
Trivia: The guy who plays the school principle was arrested recently (for things I don't care to think about)
There is a band called "Save Ferris"
