Hello pets and possums

I've missed you lot! I've been itching to blog the past couple of days -- not about anything in particular, just to check in and doing my usual pointless ramble -- but unbeknownst to me, my uni lecturers made a secret pact with my desire not to fail my courses and their powers have combined to keep my fingers analysing data sets and proofreading news stories rather than tapping out blog entries. I may resent it now but I'm pretty sure I'll thank them in the end when I get straight 7s this semester and am promptly offered a job by Universal Studios as a presenter on Channel V.

.... yeah, and while I'm dreaming, I'd like a villa on the Cote d'Azure....

Anyway the positive side of all the work I've been doing is that it's beginning to pay off. This monster assignment I've been dreading all semester is due on Monday but I'm managing to work through it. It's largely data analysis, which isn't my strong point (to say the least) but after quizzing my tutor repeatedly, actually opening my textbook (and then herding all the moths out of the room) and going over it with a couple of my fellow students, I've begun to understand it. I finished my analysis tonight, tomorrow I'll write it up, Sunday I'll rest and socialise and then Monday I'll polish it up, print it and hand it in. And then it will be over, praise God, and I'll never have to do it ever again! All the assignments I have to do after that are either pretty easy or are creative, either way not being much of a problem. I'm pleased, I'm relieved and once again I can't think of a final item for my set of three.

That's enough for now, I'm going to make the most of my having-finished-data-analysis by getting an early night.

A bientot!

Congrats, but 75% of people don't believe statistics and 89% of statistics are wrong.
